today, i decided to take a look at my 101 blog, since it's been so long since i've touched it. to be honest, for about 5 minutes, i just stared. stared at all the things i had hoped to accomplish. How 1001 days seemed like so much time to do all these things. how some of these empty dreams were just a whimsy of the past. I glanced at the top quote and realized that when i started this list, i was 22 years old.

"AS YOU GROW, YOU LEARN MORE. IF YOU STAYED AS IGNORANT AS YOU WERE AT TWENTY- TWO, YOU'D ALWAYS BE TWENTY-TWO. AGING IS NOT JUST DECAY, YOU KNOW. IT'S GROWTH." - MORRIE, TUESDAYS WITH MORRIE

I didn't think time would pass me by so quickly, and how it is kind of sad that I didn't accomplish all the things I had wanted to. And looking at some of these goals, they didn't seem impossible. They seemed do-able, and yet, somehow i never managed to finish it. However, there are many things on this list, that I never realized I could cross off. That in living life, I accomplished the goals that were closest to me. There were also many things that I finished, though not as specific as my goal, I was able to achieve through other means. I have started contemplating whether I wanted to start over. Sometimes, having this goals push me forward. Other times, maintaining this is just another reminder of me lack of ability to 'finish' something. Either way, it is an exercise to keep pushing forward, striving to make some changes in my life, and to encourage a broader mindset. Maybe I'll come up with more things soon.
